Continuation happens when your eyes start in one spot of a piece and follows through the movement within it. Continuation may on fit in the span of the page and then also from the views mind, it will also leave the page. The white circles against the black background that are really concentrated draw your eye to that point. The triangles and half circles flow in a funnel like shape to allow your eye to follow off the page. In the grey value piece, the "ombre" effect allow the hard contrast between the white and black broke it up.
